About Our Client

Our client is an international multi-media business. It produces and distributes 300+ entertainment, sports, factual and movie channels, reaching over 1.7 billion households around the globe.

Job Description

The role will oversee the full spectrum and day to day accounting/ tax/ financial support for the business. The ideal candidate will also play a critical role in providing business/ finance decision support to the operational team

In particular, the tasks are as follows:

* Manage month-end reporting related to costs including working with various department heads to ensure the costs are properly recognized in ledger

* Liaise with AP outsourcing firm and internally to ensure smooth payment cycle

* Prepare and ensure accurate and timely submission of cash flow, forecast and budget deliverables and other adhoc tasks

* Liaise with auditors, tax, legal, and compliance teams so as to complete SOX compliance, tax and statutory audit work on a timely manner

* Act as the gatekeeper of the policies and controls on financial reporting to ensure operational and financial compliance

The Successful Applicant

* Holder of Bachelor Degree in Accounting/ Finance

* Seeking qualification or qualified Accountant CPA or CA

* 7+ years working experience at Multinational Company in full set of accounting/ finance budget/forecast and AP/Treasury

* US MNC deliverables will be a plus

* Strong hands on experience in ERP (PeopleSoft and Hyperion preferred)

* Strong knowledge on Taiwan tax /US GAAP and statutory reporting

* Business, commercial and financial acumen

* Operation skills - meticulous, detail oriented perfectionist who is comfortable at multi tasking with tight deadlines. Should highly process oriented but at the same time be able to reach out to make things happen.

* Excellent command of both Mandarin & English

* Outstanding communication, interpersonal and team player

* Assertive, self-motivated and ability to deliver quality and timely analyses on tight deadline

* Strong believer in working and supporting a team

* Love for TV industry would be a plus
