About Our Client

Our client is a multinational conglomerate corporation, which has established strong worldwide business presence. Due to fast business expansions, they are seeking a Software Engineer to meets their business objectives.

Job Description

*Work is assigned and reviewed by manager.

*Support Taiwan ODM mobile phone, wearable, and smart device projects from concept to end-of-life.

*Lead, monitor, and support ODM partners in project RF (EDGE, UMTS, LTE, WiFi, Bluetooth, NFC, DTV, and A-GPS) designs to ensure products are launched in a timely matter with the highest quality and lowest cost.

*Support Requirement Management with regards to RF performance requirements.

*Provide coaching and actively transfer knowledge within R&D.

*Carry out RF technology studies.

*Keep up-to-date knowledge of the latest RF conformance (3GPP / 802.11 / BQB), regulatory (RSE / OBW / Band Edge), and internal (desense) specifications, operator requirements, and measurement techniques and share with different functions across the global organization.

*Perform competitive analysis on RF designs in SOMC, competitor phones, and available platform vendors focusing on performance, cost, and size.

*Produce ideas and patent proposals whenever feasible.

*Support the global RF line through process work to improve performance and quality, shorten design cycle time, and reduce cost, of phone projects.

*Able to accomplish other tasks assigned by his/her manager in a timely matter with high quality.

The Successful Applicant

*Strong oral and written communication skills in English

*Ability to creatively apply engineering principles to solving problems and improving processes

*Extensive knowledge and experience in EDGE / UMTS / LTE/ WiFi / Bluetooth / NFC/ DTV / A-GPS mobile RF design techniques

*Extensive knowledge and experience in following mobile phone, wearable, and smart device components including but not limited to: Transceiver IC, PA, ASM, Duplexer, SAW, VCTCXO, GPS IC, DTV IC, NFC IC and WiFi/Bluetooth/FM IC

*Extensive knowledge and experience in debugging RSE and desense

*Knowledge and experience in QCT & MTK mobile platforms a plus

*Ability to take initiatives, organize, and plan

*Willingness to be a team player

*Ability to transfer knowledge and explain difficult technical issues clearly
