工作說明：: ORGANIZATION BACKGROUND

Our client is the leading software developer specializing in multimedia technologies and applications for both desktop and embedded platforms with operations across Americas, Asia Pacific, and Europe. To cope with their business growth, our client is looking for a Financial Analyst.

LOCATION

Taipei, Taiwan

POSITION & MAIN PURPOSE

The Financial Analyst will play a very critical role in the Finance team, providing input to the company and bringing advice and perspective to operating management on significant business decisions. He/She will be in charge of developing and implementing the company’s Finance strategy with the primary aim to support rapid Asia market expansion, and uphold the leadership position.

EPORTING RELATIONSHIP

The incumbent reports directly to the General Manager of Taiwan and Regional Director of Asia Pacific.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

The successful candidate will play a critical role in the current and future success of the organization. He/She will play a key advisory role to Director of Asia Pacific on the financial issues while helping drive the business towards growth and continued profitability.

The key responsibilities and priorities of the position will include, but not be limited to the following:

?Participate in financial leadership of major initiatives and operations including: revenue cycle, budgeting, capital assets, treasury, decision support and business analysis.

?Advise the key executives within the organization on financial trends and make recommendations on appropriate courses of action for the short and long-term growth of the organization.

?Evaluate existing controls and implement where necessary additional or improved systems of control.

?Ensure a fully compliance with GAAP and local tax laws and regulations.

?Work closely with business units to identify financial and operating issues and opportunities.

?Participate in establishing pricing models and policies across countries in Asia Pacific.

?Participate in determining profitability and pricing on specific product offerings and developing performance indicators to enable analysis of business segments and new product lines.

?Develop financial analysis and metrics to improve decision-making and support a better understanding of profitability by business unit, vendor, product line and other relevant categories.

?Develop and analyze unit cost information for all product lines.

?Provide management team information on all areas of cost and revenue as requested.

?Manage all activities focused on providing evaluation of tax savings alternatives. Identify areas of potential tax savings.

?Provide management team on the business impact of new tax laws and related income tax regulations, as well as proposed tax legislation.

?Develop and maintain a working knowledge of country specific tax laws and regulations.

?Monitor and assess possible implications of any external developments in the financial field and competitive practices that might affect the organization with recommendations to address.

?Participate in company listing project to support the company’s objectives.

?Participate in financial forecasting, planning, and goal setting for the region.

IDEAL CANDIDATE

The highly motivated and seasoned financial professionals for this role will have:

?At least 5 years of finance / accounting experience with minimum 3 years in IT industry.

?Prior successful experience in the software industry is preferred.

?Preferably public company financial experience.

?S/he must be a team player and an aggressive and creative problem solver.

?Strong oral and written communication skills appropriate for consultation and facilitation to all levels of management.

?He/She should be able to influence and persuade people to his/her ideas, as well as create win-win situations for all parties involved.

?He/She should have a “can-do” and “will-do” attitude with respect to accomplishing goals and satisfying the needs of customers.

?He/She should be fluent in English.

?He/She should be able to travel frequently to assist international sites.

EDUCATION

A Master or other advanced degree in Financial and Accounting is highly preferred.
